To Amanda, the Old Testament was full of questions.

She came from a Christian family and had grown up being taught from the Bible.

But as a young woman deconstructing her faith, she struggled to see the relevance of the Old Testament.

The same was true for her boyfriend. Both were serving in the military, and both were finding it harder to believe in the faith they had grown up with.

Then Amanda’s mom sent her a link to a Your Move video.

Amanda asked her mom to send more Your Move content but in podcast form.

As Amanda listened, she found the messages compelling, timely, and relevant. Your Move content gave her answers to deep questions she didn’t even realize she had nor knew to ask.

When Amanda found out that her boyfriend would be out on deployment for 6–9 months and unable to use data on his phone, she decided to set him up with a backlog of pre-downloaded listening material. With her mom sending helpful links, Amanda downloaded a slew of Your Move podcasts onto his phone.

Because of Your Move, both Amanda and her boyfriend are growing in their faith.

Amanda has even shared Your Move podcasts with other friends, including an agnostic friend who wanted listening material for a long road trip from the East Coast to California. He listened to Your Move the entire way.

By the time he got to California, he told Amanda, “I want to reread Luke, this time with the new perspective Your Move has given me.”

Two months later, he’s no longer agnostic and believes it’s possible to know God and draw near to him.
