Husband to Sandra and father of three grown children, Andy founded North Point Ministries (NPM) in Atlanta in 1995. NPM has since grown to eight church campuses in metro Atlanta and a network of nearly 180 churches around the globe serving hundreds of thousands of people. An Outreach Magazine survey of U.S. pastors identified him as one of the 10 most influential pastors in America.
Andy earned a journalism degree from Georgia State University and a graduate degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.
